JEANNETTE BERENS
Executive Assistant
Jeannette Berens (she/her) draws on a rich background in hospitality and business administration to provide scheduling and administrative support to the Hyphen team. In 2019, she founded “The Virtual Game Changer” to provide administrative, organizational, and project support to businesses, organizations, and individuals all over the world, both in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. One of her first clients was Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees, which she supported for over two years.
Before launching the Virtual Game Changer, Berens worked primarily in the tourism and hospitality industry, including as assistant hotel manager, property manager, surf school manager, concierge, vacation planner, and guest relations officer.
Berens has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Management from the Breda University of Applied Science in the Netherlands. She has lived and worked in Germany, Malaysia, Costa Rica, and Sri Lanka. She is fluent in German, English, and Spanish; if forced to, she can communicate in French and Dutch.
